“HOP” on over to Union Park in Des Moines this Saturday and help us implement a community egg hunt! It promises to be an “EGG-CITING” day as volunteers will help carry, unload and disperse eggs throughout the sites for each age group (3 & Under, 4-6 years old, 7-10 years old), guard the eggs and help direct participants to their designated areas in the park. Staff will provide training and treats for volunteers on-site. Following the egg hunt, volunteers will assist in collecting empty eggs for recycling.
Please note volunteers will require an application/waiver (if volunteer is a minor parent or legal guardian will need to sign) and will be background checked before working with the youth.
