Volunteer outdoors with your friends on a warm, sunny day. United Way seeks volunteers to serve as course marshals during the Principal Charity Classic, June 3 through June 7 at Wakonda Club. United Way is responsible for Hole #5. Duties include ensuring players are not disturbed during play, spotting balls, and maintaining crowd control and golf etiquette among spectators. Most shifts will be 5-6 hours, with lunch on us! United Way’s proceeds from the tournament will help fund a summer jobs program for at-risk central Iowa youth.
There is an $85 fee that provides Principal Charity Classic golf polos and extra event tickets for your friends and family. Meals will be provided.
