Help us bring to life one of Central Iowa's biggest fundraisers for youth in need. Reggie's Sleepout will be held in person on October 29th for the first time in two years and we need 50+ hardworking volunteers to help us make this event a reality.
Please visit https://bit.ly/RSOvolunteers to register for a volunteer shift and see descriptions of what is needed.
Volunteer positions include assisting with set-up/tear down, serving in the food tent, and more. All registered volunteers will receive a free Event T-shirt. Reggie’s Sleepout is a great individual or group volunteer opportunity!
Once you have signed up to volunteer, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from IHYC and will get more information and updates. All questions regarding volunteering can be directed to IHYC at 515-238-4099 or by email at IHYC@yss.org.
Who Can Volunteer – Anyone over the age of 18 can become a volunteer.
Shift Lengths – Volunteer shifts are 4 hours. You will be paired with another volunteer. Do not double book yourself when signing up for multiple opportunities. Please only sign up if you can volunteer the entire 4 hour shift.
What Is Reggie’s Sleepout?
Join us in the fight to end youth homelessness in Iowa. Register today to sleepout on the field at Drake Stadium for one night (Oct. 29) and learn more about this critical cause. Gather your friends, family, youth group, place of worship, or workplace and fundraise together as a team. All proceeds benefit programs for transition aged youth at YSS and Iowa Homeless Youth Centers.
During the event, engage in entertainment and educational programming all evening. Participate in the Nationwide Boxed-in Contest and design your own sculpture or enclosure.
