Hello faithful Iowa State Fair Parade volunteers!
We are looking forward to finally seeing you again at the 2022 Parade on Wednesday August 10th!
Volunteer openings for the 2022 Parade are now available, please sign up at:

On this site you will fill in the necessary information and select your preferred area to volunteer.
The Parade relies on over 100 volunteers, so please pass this information to your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.

We will have volunteer training sessions on August 2nd (Tuesday) at 6 PM and August 6th (Saturday) at 10 AM on the east side of the State Capital building (in the parking lot). If you are a new volunteer, you need to attend one of these training sessions. If you have volunteered previously, it is highly recommended as we will not be using the same t-shirts from 2021. T-shirts are available at the training sessions or at volunteer check-in on the day of the Parade.
Volunteer check-in on the day of the Parade will again be at the Lucas building's north side entrance from 4:00 - 4:45 PM.
We will again be providing one gate admission ticket to the State Fair to each qualifying volunteer as our THANK YOU! We can't have as successful of a Parade as we do without all of our volunteers.
