The Dallas County Health Department will be holding an Emergency Preparedness Medication Dispensing Exercise on Friday September 6 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. We are looking for volunteers both to staff the exercise and to go through the Point of Dispensing (POD). The staffing needs we have are:
2 people for Greeting & Triage
4 people for Screening (must be able to follow a decision tree)
4 people for Dispensing
None of these positions needs to have any medical background and we will hold a quick training session with these volunteers before the POD opens.
An additional 50+ people will be needed to walk through the POD to test our throughput.
