On Saturday, January 20th Roosevelt High School Theatre Department will host the Iowa High School Speech Association District competition.
This activity will offer 18 - 21 high schools from Central Iowa the opportunity to compete and develop their skills in a variety of acting, speech and musical theatre categories.
Volunteer Roles include:
- Room Monitors: Assigned to a specific event, introduce participants and time the event.
- Door Monitor: Oversees when room can be entered. Reminds guests outside of room to keep quiet.
- Greeters: Welcomes and hands out maps. Answers questions or refers questions to others.
- Concessions: sales or food serving
