If you like sorting and organizing, talking with people, or finding ways to give back to the community look no further! Volunteers who work in the Not New Shop (thrift shop) located next to George Washington Carver Community School (705 East University Avenue) have the opportunity to help with assisting customers with purchases, ringing up sales, sorting donations, pricing, and keeping shop in order. All proceeds from the Not New Shop support hospital patient programs such as the Comfort Cart and Clothing closet programs, as well as scholarship programs for graduating Iowa Lutheran Hospital Volunteen (teen) volunteers, Grand View University nursing students, among others.
Shifts:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
