Camp Helpers support the camp directors, activity coordinators, and counselors in making sure activities run smoothly and times where extra hands are needed are taken care of. Twice a year Camp Amanda is held over the weekend.
Volunteers may help with checking in families, setting up or facilitating an activity, helping clean up, help supervise groups of children to relieve counselors for a bit over the course of the weekend.
Volunteers should be organized, be comfortable supervising groups of children, and take initiative if other activity coordinators are occupied.
Shifts are available.
Training Required: A brief organization and role orientation will be provided the first day of volunteering. Volunteers must successfully complete a background check and child and dependent adult abuse checks prior to volunteering at camp.
