Do you love chatting with people from all walks of life and sharing your love of affordable homeownership? If so, we would love to have you join Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity as a tabling ambassador. The tabling ambassador helps the Habitat for Humanity Resource Development and Marketing team by talking with various event attendees at local festivals, volunteer recruitment or corporate events.
Frequency: 5 – 10 opportunities a year (2 – 4 hour increments)
Volunteer expectations are:
Engaging people with Habitat for Humanity information booths at various community events throughout the Greater Des Moines area
Be punctual
Have reliable transportation
Be comfortable in different types of weather for outdoor events
Lift capacity of 25 lbs
Training:1-hour orientation on Habitat Information
Location: Various locations within Polk, Dallas,Jasper and Warren counties
Habitat Staff: Supported by the Director of Volunteer Engagement & Communications Director
