Be a part of the World Food & Music Festival Volunteer Team!
The Greater Des Moines Partnership is excited to share the 2026 World Food & Music Festival presented by Veridian Credit Union is coming up on August 28-30 in Western Gateway Park in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). This three-day event would not be possible without the help of countless volunteers & supporters.
The volunteer sign-up for this year's Festival is live, and we hope you'll consider being part of the fun! With a variety of opportunities to choose from, you can volunteer by yourself or with a group of friends, colleagues, or family members. Whatever you choose, there's a spot for you!
Important volunteer information:
- Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt to wear during their shift(s) and three $2 taste tickets to use for free food at The Festival!
- Volunteers must be at least 14-years-old when they report for their shift.
- Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and keep in mind that we will be outside throughout the entirety of your volunteer shift. The event is rain or shine, so it's important that you come prepared for anything!
- If you are unable to fulfil your shift, please let us know as soon as possible.
