Help create connection, joy, and community for women rebuilding their lives at The Beacon. Saturday Night Socials focus on social wellness and provide a safe, fun environment where women can relax, connect, and try something new.
Volunteers lead a 60-minute activity for approximately 5 to 20 women at our Sherman Hill location. Activity supplies must be provided by the volunteer.
Examples include:
- Karaoke
- Flower arranging
- Arts and crafts
- Cookie decorating
- Jewelry making
- Makeup tutorials with sample items
- Game nights
- Vision boards
- Seasonal activities

- After approval, volunteers may sign up for available Saturday dates
- Volunteers must provide supplies/materials
- No soliciting, selling products, recruiting, or promoting businesses on-site

• A background check is required for volunteers interacting directly with participants and must be completed prior to approval.
• Volunteer opportunities may take place at either of The Beacon's campuses, including The Beacon Sherman Hill or The Beacon Village, based on organizational need and scheduling.
• Volunteers are expected to support a safe, respectful, trauma-informed environment.
