Pi515's Career Accelerator Program is a 9-week program for high school students designed to explore diverse career fields, engage with industry speakers, and build digital literacy and interpersonal skills. The "Upskill Yourself" curriculum develops essential career readiness skills, and students who complete the program have the opportunity to earn 2 free DMACC credits. Participants will create a professional resumé, write a cover letter, and practice effective interview strategies through mock interviews and guided feedback.
Class is held from 3:45-5:00p downtown at the Pi515 Office (710 Ninth St, Des Moines, IA 50392) on Mondays and Wednesdays from March 25-May 20. We are looking for industry volunteers to share their expertise on the following topics:
