Monday, January 19th, is Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service. For over 30 years, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day has been observed with a National Day of Action. Volunteers across the United States step forward to lend a hand and make a positive impact in their community, honoring Dr. King's memory and legacy.
We would like to invite you to join Habitat on Monday, January 19, 2026, to volunteer on a new home construction site. The volunteer day would be 8:15am-4:00pm. No construction experience is needed we will provide all the instruction, safety equipment and tools needed for the day. We will be working on an interior opportunity which could include installing trim, flooring, appliances and cabinetry. Location and safety information will be emailed to participants the Thursday before the shift. will share in the morning meet and greet how Dr. King’s vision for building the “beloved community” and Habitat’s commitment to making it a reality.

STEP 1: Complete Waiver

STEP 2: Select Shift to Volunteer
- Once you have completed the waiver, available shifts for your group will pop up
- Once you have selected a shift(s) and clicked the Sign Up to Volunteer button at the bottom of the page, you should receive an email with the date and time.
You must complete both steps of the registration process to be signed up.
