The statewide Pi515 AI Challenge offers students ages 18-24 an opportunity to tackle real-world social and economic issues in Iowa using Multi-Modal AI and big data. Teams of 3-5 students will design innovative and scalable solutions that address challenges in agriculture, finance, cybersecurity, and education. This program runs February-April 2026 and culminates with a public pitch competition, where top teams present their ideas for the chance to win awards funds to further develop their project.
Sign up to be a AI Challenge mentor. This includes:
1. Working with a team of 3-5 students
2. Offering expertise, guidance, and support as teams develop their AI solution and model
3. Meeting at least twice (1-2 hours, virtually) over the course of the program (February - April 2026)
