Purpose: Members of the Safety Team provide an extra set of eyes and ears throughout the hospital. In this role, volunteers may assist providing directions, reporting incidents, and crowd control.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular rounds of assigned areas, looking for issues or areas of concern
- Report any issues or incidents found to Public Safety
- Provide directions and assistance to patients and visitors
- Assist with crowd control, and other public safety activities as assigned
Preferred Experience:
- Interest in security/public safety
- Prior customer service
- Solid communication skills, written and verbal
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
- Comfortable walking up to 3 miles
A six-month commitment is appreciated.
