West Des Moines Human Services is seeking volunteers to assist with English Language Learner (ELL) classes for adult learners on Tuesday and/or Thursday mornings from 10 am to noon. Knowledge of a second language is not necessary to volunteer. Some teaching experience is preferred, but not required. We are especially in need of volunteers who are willing to lead a class if the teacher is absent. Fall class session runs from Sept 9th through November 19th.
