Who We Are

Project IOWA's mission is to serve as a bridge between the underemployed and the unemployed persons seeking living wage careers and employers seeking workers, thereby transforming lives and benefiting communities.

What We Do

Project IOWA provides a relevant and holistic approach to workforce training for all people. Our training lasts 12 weeks and begins with our signature course V.I.P. (Vision, Initiative, and Perseverance) and is followed by Quality, Wellness and Stress Reduction, V.I.P. 201, Digital Skills, and Job Seekers. Upon completion of our program, Project IOWA works with participants to place them in a livable wage career paying at least $13 an hour. We are able to place participants in livable wage careers because of our relationships with business partners in the community who pay at least $13 an hour and believe in our mission. We continuously improve and modify our training program to meet the needs of our participants and business partners in the community.
