Who We Are

The Ankeny Kiwanis Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that is the fundraising arm of the Ankeny Kiwanis Club.

The Foundation provides funding for the numerous volunteer service projects and initiatives that the Ankeny Kiwanis Club supports throughout the year, such as:

  • Ankeny Miracle League and All-Inclusive Playground
  • Beds for Kids
  • Shoes for Kids
  • Miracle Kids programming/events like bowling
  • Operation Underwear
  • Ankeny BackPack Buddies
  • Kiwanis One Day
  • Ankeny High School Key Club Sponsor
  • Sack Saturday/Sunday food collection to benefit the DMARC emergency food pantry network, including RRACAP's pantry in Ankeny
  • Kiwanis Miracle League at Principal Park
  • Ankeny Dollars for Scholars and Ankeny Chamber of Commerce scholarships
  • Ankeny Parks and Recreation: AKC is a sponsor of Ankeny Parks and Rec programming for children with special needs, including Adaptive Swim Lessons
  • Physical Aid Devices for Ankeny-Area Children

 

What We Do

Volunteers create and hold fundraisers like an annual gala and community pancake breakfast.
