For almost 100 years, Broadlawns Medical Center has enhanced the quality of life for the Des Moines community through healing, teaching and compassionate care. Broadlawns Medical Center is the safety net hospital for Polk County, and Broadlawns is dedicated to ensuring that high quality healthcare is accessible to all individuals throughout our community.

Through the generosity of those who understand how critically important it is for everyone in our community to have access to high quality healthcare, the Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation supports the mission of Broadlawns Medical Center and its efforts to provide exceptional healthcare in medically-current facilities. Proceeds from the Broadlawns  Foundation support capital improvement initiatives, programming and services throughout the organization. The needs of our patient population are significant, and support of the Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation truly does make a meaningful and tangible difference to the most vulnerable individuals within our community.
