Description

At Catholic Charities, we believe in walking alongside individuals and families as they work toward a stronger, more stable future. Community Resource Coordination uplifts and empowers our clients while connecting them with other local resources. Learn more about our Community Resource Coordination Program here
For this Day of Action opportunity, volunteers will put together organized resource packets that clients can take home – these will be given to refugee clients, counseling clients, and other walk-in clients. The packets will provide more information about access to employment resources, community services, and other information. Volunteers will also be packing mini hygiene packets that can be given to clients as well.
Volunteers will hear a short presentation about Catholic Charities and the Community Resource Coordination program at the beginning of our time together.
Volunteers will:
  • Organize resource packets into folders.
  • Label folders.
  • Staple or bind resource guides as needed.

This opportunity will take place in Krause Hall of the Catholic Pastoral Center at 601 Grand Ave. Please reach out to Jordan Banfield (jbanfield@catholiccharitiesdm.org) or Rebecca Kannegiesser (rkannegiesser@catholiccharitiesdm.org) with any questions.
