Yard Work at Families Forward Child Development Center (morning)

Description

Volunteers are needed to do yard work at Families Forward's Child Development Center. We will be weeding flower beds and cleaning up fence lines. All supplies will be provided, but please bring your favorite yard work gloves. (We will also have gloves available.)

Orientation: A volunteer orientation about Families Forward is provided when you first arrive to volunteer.

About: Families Forward (previously Bidwell Riverside Center and Hawthorn Hill) has four main programs: Bidwell Pantry, Child Development Center, New Directions Shelter (emergency housing), and The Home Connection (long term housing). Our mission is to provide compassionate, life-changing assistance to families and their path to self-sufficiency.​
