This year we are excited to release a brand new Literacy Kit on Day Action, "Planting Stories"!
Literacy Kits are a great opportunity for a high impact project that can be brought to you. The literacy kits are used by reading mentors to help students learn and love to read. Your group of volunteers will gather in the workplace to build these kits.
Each literacy kit costs $8, which will include the book and additional activities to deepen specific literacy skills. United Way provides all the materials necessary for creating these kits and volunteers will assemble and decorate them.
PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a feature kit we are asking that you order no more than 100 kits. If you are interested in doing more than 100 kits with your group please work with Sarah Underwood.
