Volunteer: Local Coordinator for Exchange Students

AnB Education is a non-profit organization pairing exchange students with host families and public/private high schools across the US for one semester or one academic year programs. Each year, students from all over the world come to the United States to learn English and experience our unique culture.

We are looking for volunteers across the US to join our mission as Local Coordinators. LCs are our "on the ground" assets during the program year for our exchange students. LCs are tasked with recruiting volunteer families to host our J-1 international students, and then supervising the exchange student(s) throughout the school year. Our Local Coordinators are paid a modest stipend for their efforts, based on their number of placed students, and have the opportunity to work with international students from around the world and help our students' dreams come true! It is also fulfilling to share your small part of America with the world, and bring the world to your area!

Successful Local Coordinators are typically:

-Self motivated

-Independent

-Open-minded

-Interested in different cultures

-Enjoy working with youth

-Strong at public speaking/recruiting

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Local Coordinator with us, please reach out and we will be happy to answer any questions you have, and help get you started placing international students in your area!
