Come help play with and watch over the kiddos who come to our Pow Wow! The Children's area is a fun place where children can participate in crafts led by our volunteers. If you have children yourself, you are more than welcome to bring them with you!

Volunteers in this area will be needed for 6-hour shifts on September 12 and the 13th.

Are you a neat freak who takes pride in cleanliness and keeping a tidy and comfortable place? If so, we could use your help on our Sanitation Team!



We are looking for people to volunteer to check the bathrooms every hour on the hour to make sure they are tidy and well equipped with toilet paper in all the stalls. This team will also need to check the grounds to make sure trash is in the bins. When the bins are full, volunteers will need to make sure that the trash is pulled and a new bag is put in.


Volunteers in this area will be needed for 4-hour shifts on September 11, 12, and the 13th.

First, we will be needing help with loading the trailer up from the storage unit into trailers. The location will be in Woodward, IA.

Purpose: We are looking for a volunteer with sound system knowledge who can help us figure out what we need to upgrade and properly set up our PA system for our yearly event.

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

·       Work with our director to learn about our current sound system and make suggestions for improvements.

·       Willing to demonstrate and/or set up a brand-new sound system.

·       Quickly identify and resolve technical issues such as audio feedback and faulty cables.

·       Unload, position, and connect audio gear for our yearly event.

·       Pack up equipment after yearly event and perform routine maintenance to ensure all gear is ready for future use.

·       Required to attend yearly event and monthly White Eagle Multicultural Pow Wow Committee meetings as needed.

Reports to: Director of the White Eagle Multicultural Pow Wow Committee

Length of Assignment: A commitment of at least one year on the White Eagle Multicultural Pow Wow Committee

Qualifications & Skills:

·       Passion for the values of our Pow Wow: multiculturalism, intercultural dialogue, friendship, education, and celebration

·       Familiarity with live sound equipment

·       Able to remain calm under pressure and troubleshoot technical failures quickly

·       Capable of collaborating with a wide variety of people such as event coordinators, performers, and other volunteers

·       Able to work well in a team as well as independently
