AAU Junior Olympic Games: July 25 – August 4
The Games bring an estimated 40,000 visitors to Central Iowa over 11 days, with 14,000 athletes from all over the United States. There are 15 sports that take place during the Games including track & field, jump rope and wrestling, just to name a few. The athletes will be competing at Drake Stadium, Wellmark YMCA and the Iowa Events Center.
For an event this large we are in great need of volunteers! Our goal is to have over 1,300 volunteers to help with the success of the Games. Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt and a credential to get into the facilities.
