Everybody Wins! Iowa is searching for charismatic Power Read Lead (PRL) Volunteers for the 2026-27 school year!
- A strong desire to make a difference in our community
- The ability to work with and coordinate volunteers
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google systems preferred
- And the ability to pass all background checks
PRL volunteers will support one school to start, but more can be added depending on your availability. PRLs usually are on-site for about 1-2 hours per week, then send reminders and correspondence as needed. We follow school schedules, which can vary, but hours will fall primarily between 9 AM - 1 PM Monday - Friday. A draft 2026-27 schedule can be found on our website: www.everybodywinsiowa.org.
