The Beacon of Life transitional housing facility requires 24-hour staffing to support our clients. The Resident Assistant is the first and primary point of contact for meeting many of our clients' needs throughout their stay. RA shifts run from 12am - 8am, 8am - 4pm, and 4pm - 12am. We are always seeking volunteers to help out during these times or even to split shifts.
RA duties include:
Respond to resident needs
Greet visitors and answer phone
Call residents on "pass" to verify whereabouts
Random drug and alcohol testing
Handle medications: dispensing, counting, checking in new medications and refills
Check indoor household chores
Light cleaning
Special projects as designated by Case Manager
