Volunteer Opportunity | Flexible Commitment
Little Splash is looking for outgoing, community-minded volunteers to help us introduce our fundraising campaign to local businesses, organizations, and community members. With partnership of Hope Floats Foundation, Little Splash is raising funds for local swim lesson scholarships. All funds raised will directly impact Iowa children, and provide them with lifesaving skills they may not otherwise have access to.
As a Community Outreach Volunteer, you'll help us build relationships throughout the community and connect the "First Splash" fundraising campaign with people and organizations who may be interested in supporting our mission.
What You'll Do
- Research local businesses and community organizations that may align with First Splash
- Visit or contact businesses and organizations to introduce the campaign
- Distribute approved First Splash materials
- Identify potential sponsors, partners, and community connections
- Attend community events or outreach opportunities when available
- Document outreach efforts and share promising leads with the campaign team
- Help spread awareness of First Splash throughout the local community

- Professional and dependable
- Comfortable representing a community campaign
- A strong communicator
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Passionate about making a positive impact in the community
You do not need fundraising experience to apply. Training, talking points, and outreach materials will be provided.
Time Commitment
We offer flexible volunteer commitments:
- 1-month sprint
- 3-month commitment
- 6-month commitment
- Ongoing
Volunteers can typically contribute 1–5 hours per week, depending on their availability.
