The annual Reunification Picnic celebrates parents who have successfully addressed any concerns that lead to their child’s removal from their care. These parents have worked hard to learn better ways to parent their children, to access the medical care they need to maintain their sobriety, address any mental health needs and are able to provide for their family’s basic needs. Many of these parents have courageously addressed their own childhood trauma to provide a better future for themselves and their children.
The picnic will be held at Pete Crivaro Park (1105 E Railroad Ave) from 11 AM - 1 PM. We are looking for volunteers to help with set-up at 9 AM, support during the event at 11 AM, and tear-down at 1 PM.
