During program, moms and their children share a meal together, strengthening relationships in a welcoming environment. Meals play a critical role in supporting participants who are experiencing food insecurity. You may choose to prepare a homemade meal, provide a premade option, or arrange delivery or catering. The Young Women's Resource Center offers three essential resource closets to support participants: the Baby Hub, the Food Pantry, and the Care Closet. Tasks include: Sorting through donated goods to ensure they are clean, usable, and properly categorized. Stock and organize hygiene items, food donations, and supplies for participants in designated closets to ensure easy access and distribution.
