Adults enroll in the DMACC Adult Literacy Center to become more independent in the world of words, to get a better job, earn a high school diploma, and speak and understand English better. Volunteers meet with their assigned student at the DMACC Urban Campus or at an area library. No prior teaching experience is necessary.
