You're invited to Snyder Heritage Farm, a 154-acre natural area for a fall prairie seed harvest!
Join Iowa Wildlife Federation and Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation as we hand-harvest native seeds to help diversify and expand the prairie ecosystem while enhancing vital wildlife habitat. We’ll begin with an introduction to Snyder Heritage Farm and its unique environment, then head into the prairie. Volunteers love this peaceful activity for the chance to connect deeply with the land, support native wildlife, and gain a greater appreciation for this special ecosystem. We’ll wrap up the afternoon with a well-earned beverage of your choice at Reclaimed Rails Brewery in Bondurant.
