Warren County Health Services

We are the agency designated by the Warren County Board of Health to serve as the local public health agency. We are a group of sixteen, experienced professionals, paraprofessionals and administrative assistants who are committed to providing the best possible service to our community. Our mission is to improve the health of the population we serve through health promotion, disease prevention and education. We have a vision of a community engaged and empowered to strive for their highest level of health and wellbeing.

We are a Public Health agency for Warren County Iowa and currently provide Immunizations, non certified home health care (no insurance) by providing nursing and/or personal cares and/or homemaking service, Maternal health education, Child Health Services, Environmental Health activities, Mental Health for kids through referral utilizing our 1st Five program, Manage Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program for a four county area, provide surveillance and follow up on reportable communicable diseases in our county, participate in a health care coalition to respond to public health emergencies with our partners, provide foot care clinics to those who are unable to do this themselves, provide a nurse consultant to assist child care providers and centers in areas of health and safety for children, provide oral screenings, fluoride and dental sealants for children and participate in delivery of fresh produce to homebound seniors in our county.
