West Des Moines Community Schools Community Education

WDMCS Community Education is the outreach department of the WDMCS. We provide opportunities for learning, service, and fun to people of all ages. We look to serve the needs of our community by connecting people, ideas, and resources.

West Des Moines Community Education works to enhance community life by providing lifelong learning opportunities. Community Education was established in the mid 1970s and has created and/or funded numerous programs and services, and collaborations, including: before and after school programming, adult classes, facility use, service learning, summer programs, and early childhood opportunities.
