Who We Are
Children & Family Urban Movement. (CFUM) Seeks to create a community that supports the potential in children, youth, and families, through educational success, healthy living, and community engagement. Children & Families Urban Movement offers a variety of programs for our Youth and Volunteers, alike.
What We Do
The programs offered are:
- Breakfast Club, all year-round, offers hot and cold options for children before school as well as during all day programming
- Reading Mentor, an opportunity to improve literacy skill by having volunteers read with the same student every week
- The Haven, an after school program offered during the school year for Moulton & Madison Elementary School students that are in grades K-5, and students at Harding Middle School grades 6th thru 8th.
- Awesome Days, an educational program offered during Moulton, Madison and Harding breaks.
- Back-to-School Fair: CFUM provides all of the schools supplies for Moulton Elementary School. The day before school starts, we host various resource vendors, food and family friendly activities are provided.
- Supper Club, an evening meal that is provided by various organizations and groups for approximately 150 adults and children Monday through Friday.
- Provide various breads, toiletries & clothing that is donated to us for the community.
