Friends of Iowa CASA and ICFCRB is an affiliated member of the National CASA/GAL Association for Children. Since 1998, we have served as the non-profit partner supporting the Iowa Child Advocacy Board (ICAB), the body responsible for administering Iowa's CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate) and FCRB (Foster Care Review Board) programs. Our board of directors, representing communities across Iowa, is dedicated to advocating for at-risk children and actively collaborates to advance child advocacy initiatives statewide.
Our efforts to amplify children's voices include:
- Conducting fundraising activities to maintain ICAB programming
- Securing supplementary resources to enhance ICAB service
- Increasing public awareness of the CASA and FCRB programs, as well as the current state of child welfare advocacy in Iowa.
