Friends of West Des Moines Parks and Recreation

Our mission is to support the development and enhancement of public parks, facilities, and recreation programs for the benefit of the citizens of West Des Moines, Iowa.

We collaborate with West Des Moines Parks and Recreation to support and enhance our parks and recreation programs, expand community outreach, and drive membership growth. Our six guiding tenants—involvement, foster, enrichment, preservation, enhancement, and contribution—drive our work as we look to 2025.
