ICRI is planning to implement state-recognized Bridge to Prosperity Refugee Youth Mentoring program. The program is focused on refugee and immigrant youth who live in the greater Des Monies, Iowa and Central Iowa areas. Refugee and immigrant youth face unique cultural and linguistic challenges that often cannot be met by mainstream youth programs. ICRI is currently working with expertise to develop a STEM program for refugee youth to close the STEM gap and help ensure refugee youth gain high-demand skills to compete in the technology world. ICRI’s mission is centered on increasing equitable access to community opportunities and services.
