Who We Are

Flashback to March 2020, amidst COVID-19 reaching Iowa, a community member posted an idea that inspired other Bondurant residents; it took off like wildfire! She suggested rallying together to create a community garden, seeking to create a long-term sustainable food source. A group of charitable people immediately jumped on board offering land, equipment usage, supplies, leadership, expertise, time and support.

Whether you're looking to volunteer your time, knowledge or just to receive some fresh organic produce, all we welcome!

What We Do

Ohana means family. Through efforts of community members and volunteers plots are tilled, planted, weeded, watered, harvested and delivered to community members offering fresh, locally grown vegetables.

Opportunities to volunteer will vary throughout the growing and harvesting season. Check back often to sign up and get involved.
