Des Moines Young Artists' Theatre

DMYAT is a nonprofit theatre that belongs to the youth in our community. We are committed to introducing students to the transformative power of the arts, train them in all disciplines including acting, singing, dancing, directing, design and more, and nurture them to use their skill to create positive social change in their communities.

We present four productions each season at the Stoner Theater for family audiences, 2-5 productions at Franklin Jr. High focused on opportunities for teen artists, and HOPE! Drama Troupe, a child abuse prevention peer-education troupe.
