At our Youth Opportunity Center in Des Moines, every act of service helps create a safe and welcoming space for young people. Volunteers can support by preparing and serving a meal.
We have approximately 40 individuals that visit the center during mealtimes. You'll choose providing either lunch or dinner. Volunteers can bring in prepared food, or ingredients to create and cook a meal, and then help staff with serving.
The team lead will work with the IHYC Community Engagement Coordinator directly to determine time, menu, and other support needed.
